Bread, Butter, and Roe
A perfect and tasty way to whet one’s appetite, this serving for 2 of baked sourdough bread comes warm to your table, sliced and fresh. Joining this bread is butter and our tasty smoked cod’s roe, a great starter that adds a bit of elegance as your meal.
Two succulent pieces of either cod or haddock, fried to crisp perfection in our special beer batter. Served with an ample supply of our chips, made from specially sourced potatoes sliced and prepared in the traditional way. Tartar sauce, HP, and chip shop curry sauce available upon request. Salt and vinegar are provided at the table and our takeout station, of course, and our complete dinner includes sides of mushy peas and our rich coleslaw.
For extra generous portions, consider our larger dinner with four pieces and a third side added.

Sandwiches and Lighter Fare
A favourite from back home, this delectable and lightly spiced crab rests upon a slice of toasted break, accompanied with curry, fennel cress, and avocado on the side.
Our haddock is grilled medium high to perfect texture, with rich flakes folded with capers, lemons, parsley, egg yolk, and lemon zest, shaped with potatoes added, and cooked to a golden brown.
The warm comfort food of macaroni and cheese and highlighted with tasty lobster throughout. A light crusting of bread crumbs or sesame adds a slight crunch to this tasty combination.
On a finely baked bun, enjoy a tasty crab burger patty, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, and some of our tangy coleslaw.
Sides and Extras
Our delicious mushy peas are from the best split green peas one can find at market. Carefully selected, they are prepped overnight in a wash with baking soda, re-hydrated, and boiled early each morning with a perfect balance of salt and light seasoning. Simmered for approximately 30 minutes, they are buttered and prepared for servings as an accompaniment on our platters or a tasty side dish. If you prefer yours a little tangy, add a bit of HP sauce.
